Eau Rouge – Acid Love (CD)

Since the release of their debut album ‘Nocturnal Rapture’ 5 years ago and their revelation to the general public, the Germans of Eau Rouge have toured the world’s biggest stages (Lolapalooza, Reeperbahn Festival, SXSW…), unveiled an EP (‘Closer’) acclaimed by the public (+4M streams) and for synchronizations (Redbull, Netflix…). Today, after 6 intensive months at the Riverside Studio (Berlin) and almost a year after unveiling their first single ‘I Know That You Know’ (Top 100 airplay in Germany), the trio release ‘Acid Home’. The album of confirmation and maturity!

This new indie-rock opus alternates between powerful bangers with devastating riffs such as ‘White Lies’ and ‘The Only One I Need’ (sure to thrill audiences on their European tour +20 dates across Europe between January and February 2022), and gentle ballads of striking sincerity such as ’87k Gold’ and ‘Northern South’. In this new album, the band has taken aesthetic research and the use of innovative sounds a step further, as in ‘Home’. This time, Bo’s voice blends with Jonas’s, adding nuance and color. Acid Home’ follows in the footsteps of the great alternative ock albums, where everyone can identify with the melodies, rhythms and lyrics.
